Goodies with Grandparents
Washington hosted “Goodies with Grandparents”in September. Over 400 cinnamon rolls were served to Washington students and grandparents. The families also had a chance to get their photo taken courtesy of Island Photography. It was so much fun to see thechildren and their grandparents enjoying a nice breakfast together! Many grandparents mentioned that they had been students at Washington School, which made the morning extra special!
Next up is Danish with Dads, which will happen
on the morning of October 23rd.
The Parent Club is Up and Running!
Washington’s Parent Club had its first meeting in September and it is an enthusiastic group! We will meet at least once a month and all are welcome. The dates of the meetings will be in this monthly newsletter. In addition, there is a Facebook page called"Washington Parent Advisory Club 2015-2016." Please visit it for up-to-date news and announcements. Upcoming projects include
the Santa Lucia float, Danish with Dads, and ice cream on Fridays.
