Kids Nite at Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Central Valley Home School recently had the pleasure of hosting a booth at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for Kids Nite. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more fun event. We even spotted a couple of CVHS students while speaking with families about the benefits of homeschooling with us. Word of mouth is always our best advertisement. Please share with your family and friends who may be considering this option for their children's education.
Fundraising with See's is Sweet!
Our ONE fundraiser of the year is upon us. CVHS students will be asked to sell See’s candy from 10/5/15 —11/20/15. All proceeds from this fundraiser go towards assemblies, fieldtrips and other educational opportunities for our students. Many of you may have friends and families who are not interested in candy but want to help. They can make a contribution to CVHS ASB.Did you know that as a school we make more money off the smaller less expensive boxes of candy than we do the bigger ones? Please encourage friends/family to consider purchasing the Mini Holly/Christmas Bear assortments — they are delicious, make great gifts, and the candy will arrive before Winter Break!
SHARES, BOX TOPS, AND CAMBELL’S
SOUP LABELS FOR EDUCATION
A huge thanks goes out to SaveMart. They generously donate to our school, in cash, up to 3% of your total purchase. Just swipe your S.H.A.R.E.S. card every time you shop. Proceeds go directly to opportunities for our students. We are also very appreciative of the Box Top and Labels for Education programs. Last year we were able to purchase a school t-shirt for every student in our program thanks to fundraising efforts and generous sponsors. Funds raised this year will go to covering the admission cost of field trips. The more we raise, the more experiences our students receive.
