Each
year we have a CST motto contest. The students develop a motto in their
torch classes and then they create a poster to go with it. We vote on the
mottos as a school to come up with a winner. This year the winner
was Mr. Anderson’s torch class. The motto for our school was: @K-Town
Rafer: CST #831.
Our
API goal is 831 this year. We held a CST rally and the students got to
watch the staff CST video. You can find it on our website. Each
student was then given a CST t-shirt to wear during testing.
Leadership
Headed to the CASL conference in April.
Students
traveled to San Jose for three days. They took classes on
leadership. The theme was “Know the story, know the person.”
Students came back with many exciting ideas for next year. They were also
treated to a night at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk sponsored by USA Student
travel.
