Sidney Walker

CVHS 2nd grader, Sidney Walker, recently performed a solo, “Candle on the Water” during the Spotlight Dance Cup at the William Saroyan Theater in Fresno. She earned a diamond level for her piece which is the highest designation one could get. Way to go, Sidney!

Gold Ribbon School Potential

Exciting news: CVHS recently got word we have been chosen to move on to the next step in the Gold Ribbon School Program process. The Gold Ribbon School designation is given to public schools that show outstanding educational programs and practices.
On March 29th a panel of visitors will be verifying our application and looking at our procedures and practices. This is a HUGE honor for our school. There is no way we would have made it this far without the collaboration, support, and partnership from the families we serve. Thank you.

Corporate Donations

A Big Round of Applause to the corporations that donate to our school. Every time you use your Savemart Shares Card, Target - Take Charge of Education Red Card - or clip a box top or label for education and turn it in, a portion of your purchase is donated to our student body fund. This funding goes directly to providing educational opportunities and events for our students. If you don’t already participate, it’s not too late. We can get you hooked up with programs that will help support our students throughout the year.
