Central Valley Home School Newsletter - October 2016

Valley Robotics Initiative
A HUGE thank you to the Valley Robotics Initiative. They recently provided scholarships to two CVHS students to participate in classes at InnovEd. These scholarships are worth $750 a piece!
InnovEd offers Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) enrichment programs one day a week for a three-month period of time. The facility is state of the art and the educators are amazing.

Classes began this week and I can’t wait for our students to tell us all about it. Congratulations to Jase Muller Cesena (5th) and Jordan Watkins (8th).

See's Candy
CVHS students will be fundraising with See’s candy from 10/3/16 —11/4/16.

All proceeds from this fundraiser go towards assemblies, fieldtrips, and other educational opportunities for our students.

Did you know that as a school we earn more money off the smaller, less expensive boxes of candy than we do from the bigger ones? Please encourage friends/family to consider purchasing the mini assortments.  They are delicious, make great gifts, and the candy will arrive before Winter Break. Anyone wishing to make a donation in the form of a monetary contribution may do so.   Please make checks payable to CVHS ASB.
