Central Valley Home School Newsletter - May 2016

Student Spotlight

Taylor Larson (3rd) - LOVES animals, her favorites are horses! She is a Fairmont 4H’er with projects including sewing, dairy goats, and poultry. She recently was awarded a blue ribbon in a sewing competition. She is excited to be able to officially show her goat at fair. Taylor loves to read books as well as write them. When she isn’t reading or writing, she is playing the piano. When she grows up she wants to be a horse trainer or an author.

Gold Ribbon School

Central Valley Home School has officially been recognized as a California Gold Ribbon School. Almost 6,000 schools were eligible for this award and a mere 772 were selected. We are actually the only home school on the list! What an honor it is to be part of such a special program that is recognized by the state. I have ordered gold medals for all of our students and to celebrate, have invited Reptile Ron to come visit us on May 6th at 12:30 PM. Thank you so much for all of your support, teamwork, and assistance in this BIG accomplishment.
