Champions For Today Assembly

Clarence Lee, a retired professional football player, came to visit.  He talked about pursing your dreams and working hard.  He showed us how hard work pays off!  He impressed us with his strength.  He lifted two students (see below) and he also broke a baseball bat in half!  Students were inspired by his life story!

Be a superhero!  That is our theme at RJJH this year.  This Month’s Superhero is :
Shawn Dorrough

Shawn organized a toy and blanket drive for the homeless.  He made posters, bulletin announcements,  boxes, and encouraged others daily to participate.  Shawn filled all of his boxes.  His parents will be taking him soon to Fresno to deliver them to the homeless.  Thank you Shawn!  You make a difference!
