We held our 1st ever clothing swap during the Santa Lucia Festival. I would rate this a huge
success. In general the community was really excited to get rid of some
items and to restock the closets. Left over items were donated to KCAPS. I
actually donated fewer items than I started with, which means our community was
taking advantage!!!
I was able to go and speak with parent clubs at
Washington and Lincoln. Washington parents were present big time at the
booth. CVHS families also attended this event. Many community members wanted to make sure we would be there next
year doing it again.
