Roosevelt Elementary School Newsletter - September 2015

THE ROOSEVELT ROUGHRIDER

Character Counts
I am pleased to announce we will be introducing our Character Counts program during the month of September! The students will be learning a pledge and will be reciting it together every morning in the auditorium. This month we are focusing on the Character Trait of RESPONSIBILITY. On the walls of classrooms and in our hallways students are displaying their understanding of
this trait through writing and group activities. I have seen many students earning “Caught with Character” tickets and look forward to our first drawing this week. Roosevelt is definitely “Letting Their Character Shine!”
