Goodies with Grandparents
I would like to thank Grandparents for
joining us for our morning event, Goodies with Grandparents. Our Parent Advisory Committee made this a
great event. A musical shout out to the
KHS Jazz Band and Mr. Schofield for providing the music. Cinnamon rolls, jazz, and spending time with
grandparents, what a great way to start the day!
Veterans Day
Veterans will be recognized and honored
here at Roosevelt in the auditorium on Wednesday November 9th at
1:15 pm. We will honor our men and women
who have served or are currently serving in the military.
There will
be a Patriotic Assembly with a very special Pledge of Allegiance, songs, poems,
and a presentation of gifts to our Veterans.
Children will be wearing red, white, and blue that day. Children and staff are inviting Veterans we
know to join us for the program and refreshments.
Santa Lucia Parade
Santa Lucia and Roosevelt need you for the parade. We will be designing and putting together a float for students to enjoy. Please call the school to see how you can help.
